Ashley started One Stop Organisers as a Lifestyle Management Company in 2003. Quickly growing and offering a full range of services, Ashley realised that clients were often confused about what exactly lifestyle managers and virtual assistants do. Since we now live in a 24-7 culture there is much more demand for this service and a chance to educate clients about our offerings.
Concierges
Typically you will think of a concierge as the all-seeing, all-knowing person in a hotel. These days concierges are for everyday life, not just holiday. They may be found at the reception of large companies, or, in the case of members we represent, in offices around London. Our concierges are task-led: they buy birthday presents; book hotels, holidays, flights; get your dry cleaning; open your post and action it; take back your DVD; wait in for your plumber (who they engaged on your behalf); renew your car tax and much more. Concierges can visit your home on a regular basis to pick up your to-do-list and get your tasks done.
Virtual Assistants
VAs are great for growing businesses which don’t want to go over five employees due to extra employment law regulations, or for those taking on staff for the first time and growing their businesses. A VA can save you 50% of your admin staff costs. VAs are virtual but may visit your office to do filing. VAs manage your diary, deal with correspondence, make and take calls, act as a receptionist, book travel, prepare reports, manage databases and even credit control. Because they work with you on a regular basis they know all about your business and can do almost anything a PA in situ can do. A VA will enable you to have a senior assistant for a fraction of the cost of a junior one.
Lifestyle Managers
do a little bit of concierge, a little bit of VA and also visit your home or office to carry out work for you or your business. House moves, managing property renovations and holiday cover are popular requests for them. Lifestyle Managers are the link in the chain between VAs and concierges and often our members are Lifestyle Managers and Concierges or Lifestyle Managers and Virtual Assistants.
Bookkeepers
input your day to day financial data and prepare your VAT returns, ensuring you have all the information you and your accountant need to meet your legal and financial obligations and put together any further reports that you and your business partners require. Bookkeepers can work virtually or come to your office, or a mixture of both.
Event Managers
offer stand-alone venue finding services, full party and conference event management service as well as team-building days. Some work only with corporates and others also organise private parties.
